A few more 50 limits and the average speed cameras between Lix Toll and Tyndrum spoiling the fun a wee bit since the last time I did that run.Bigyin wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 10:55 pmSome good roads on that route ........ and on the Aprilia tooCraigyboy9 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 10:43 pm Glasgow-Glencoe-Oban-Tyndrum-Callender-Aberfoyle-Glasgow and back home for 14:30.
What a machine this bike is, not quite as comfy as the old V2 Gen2 Tuono, but I can live with that. The engine is sublime .

Last ride was commuting in the rain, but this was a few weeks ago, at the gold rush place at Kildonan.

Safe option. The way the old bikes had the horn wired permanently live with no fuse was pretty dodgy!

I left home at 10am, roads were wet and there was a bit of drizzle which cleared up by the time I got to Newcastle. By 11.30 I was crossing the border
The weather improved further as I went further north, even had some sun in Glenshee
Arrived in Inverness about 6, 350ish miles later. I'm going over to the west coast tomorrow, trying to get better pics than Davie lad.

Y'know, I'm not a great fan of new bikes, but that just looks "right" if you know what I mean.weeksy wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 6:36 am 2020-08-16_02-54-03 by Steve Weeks, on Flickr
