I bought a watch off a Looky-looky man in Ibiza 15 years ago.

I was very very drunk at the time and I liked the way it lit up

The wife takes the piss out of me for it still.

Photographer Kevin Carter died on this day, July the 27th in 1994.

Carter is shown here alongside his best known image, an image which won him a Pulitzer prize in 1994.

Kevin committed suicide two months after winning the Pulitzer, in his suicide note he wrote:

'I am haunted by the vivid memories of killings & corpses & anger & pain ... of starving or wounded children, of trigger-happy madmen, often police, of killer executioners'

Kevin was 33.

The holiday of a German couple almost ended in disaster. The couple was just visiting the Aurlandsfjord in Norway, as reported by the "Rheinische Post". Shortly before the Stegastein viewpoint, the two took a break and parked their motorhome on the side of the road and got out. But suddenly the vehicle rolled backwards and came dangerously close to the abyss to stand.
