Painted the shed (grey).
Left to dry (1 hour)
Left to harden off (24 hrs)
Masked up and painted hinges black
Removed masking tape (less than an hour after I put it on)
And lifted the grey paint with it. :angry-cussingblack:

Same with that 'delicate surfaces' Frog tape. It's a lottery whether it does what it should,or lifts the paint.

I've always been disappointed with Frog Tape. Never holds the slippery buggers down long enough to take their legs off with one hack of the cleaver, particularly when they're really struggling.

Have you ever worked in customer service with the general public? Cos you really don't seem to grasp the difference in those two customers and the first really does deserve labelling a C**t

A pointless death,

Last night we had two teenage lads arrive after some beers at a station, one of them thought he’d see if the live rail was switched on, he jumped onto the track and touched it. The shock he received was sufficient to make him fall onto the live rail and running rail. In front of his mate and the other passengers on the platform.

One of the passengers had the sense to use the emergency call point, it took about 4 minutes to reach me via various call centres/controls. I switched off the electricity. The emergency services worked on him for 40 minutes. I heard them in the background of a phone call to the response staff on the ground trying to restart him.

It didn’t work.

I’m a bit upset about this, fuck knows how the response bloke feels as he was there first hand.

Railway electricity will PAINFULLY kill you, it’s ALWAYS ON and it won’t let go no matter how much you scream.

If you’ve got kids please, please, please tell them not to fuck about on the railway.

The cunt in a French supermarket car park who thought it was OK to open a car door into the side of the van and leave a decent amount of black paint on my rear bumper corner. The bumper I can live with, I'm really angry about the dent in the door. The van was only out of sight for a couple of minutes too.

I watched a car in Tours attempt to park in a side street, in a space realistically too short to safely park, by basically shunting the other cars out the way.

When you ring in sick, and you then start receiving questions from your boss about work stuff.

Fuck off. I'm ignoring them.

I understand the difference, but not the reaction. I'd probably agree with post #2 on this thread.

Fire Alarms beeping. I'm deaf I cannot hear them... you'd think it would not be a problem right? I can hear the wife. Finally made me go out and buy replacement batteries. Alarms are now silent apparently, the wife is not.... :silent:

In Scotland Nicola with the cock decided we all Must have X ampunts of alarms and they must be linked with one heat detector. I was asked to put them up for a customer as she bought the kit for her size of house (4 smoke and one heat)

You need to pair/link them all by pressing a button on one then linking the other with the same button within 30 seconds and so on. The bloody instructions dont tell you that you need the backing plate on for the button to work. after a good half hour that was sussed. All paired and tested in the same room. Stuck backing plates to ceilings in various rooms and popped in alarms. bloody things would not work :angry-cussingblack: Took backing plates back off and paired them all again in various rooms but had to be corners closest to doors rather than closest to heat source. Anyway git them all working but. If they loose pairing then all need to come back down but if its not me the old wifie would not remember the backing plates need to come down also to pair them. Apart from a stupid system its just another look at me being better than you Boris shite from our Nic with a cock.

From that I'd guess that you don't or haven't worked with the general public in any sort of customer service role. If you had, you would understand and almost certainly sympathise

I know, I know, I've said it before. But, bloody sodding bastard mozzies!!

I've got pretty good at managing to not get bitten. The aircon in my room mostly keeps them out (and a coupe of the nurses visit more cos it's cooler in here than everywhere else!). Daytimes the ward and physio area is generally ok. I do sometimes use citronella in the evenings, just in case

Last evening I went to sit in the area between two wards to chat with another patient for an hour or so. It was warmer there but, stupidly I didn't really think about it. Got back to my room - about 6 more bites!

Today I went to the other hospital to see the shoulder surgeon, so had to go outside (I haven't been outside since the latest hot spell) and managed to pick up some more

Mostly I wouldn't get too pissy, but when the little fukkers bite me where I can't reach to put anything on them (or just to scratch them!) it's REALLY annoying!!
