Nice, but I wouldn't pay £3500 for one, though thinking about it I wouldn't buy one as there are better 750s from the same year and earlier, I feel sort of unfaithful typing that because I like GSXR750s a lot.

Used bike prices are so crazy right now,it's difficult to judge value.

It's a clean one,though.

I can't see the pb thread.

I think it's a good buy if it's clean and sensible miles. Best year and best colour. Didn't KFB pay good money for the (less well regarded) 1100?

From the OP.

Would any of you fine gents like to take this off my hands to help me fund my next big headache??

I picked it up not so long ago with the same intention as any of us would on here, make it completely standard.
I mean it’s too good to not! The frame hasn’t been polished, all original bits are there mirrors, air tubes, it’s even still got the rubber on top of the screen. It has a nice micron system on it at the minute, but I even got the original system to go with it.
the bit it does want, which is why I’d like to see it go on here, is the original engine is here with the head and barrels off it. Apparently there was a rattle and the previous swapped it out with an L motor to start analyzing the original. He told me he found no fault but never put it back together..and then bought another M engine to put in the bike (but never did)

Anyway, everything is here all the engine bits, and a spare M engine.
If you have been looking out for an excellent example of the last of the oc bikes, this is the bike for you.

I’ll put a few pics up, but if you want more info drop me a WhatsApp and I can send more. 07471942229

id like £3500 for it, I think that’s a pretty fair price considering just how clean she is.

In terms of 'as a forum'?

I liked it more 2 years ago than now. Quite a lot of political wankerish stuff on there and a lot less bikes than there used to be. It has its moments

The L engine has screw and lock nut valve adjustment, the M is bucket and shim, the M is supposed to be more powerful, but I rode them back to back 30 years ago and couldn't tell the difference between the engines. The M is heavier than the L because of the enclosed headlight, and they feel a little nose heavy to ride compared with the L.

Nice bike and defo something I used to lust over as a teenager. But if I owned 2 Suzukis I'd have to change my whole wardrobe to wife beaters and trackie bottoms

Mines a 92 1100 N.

I paid a lot more.

But mine is very low miles and almost showroom condition... And 1100 so even thought lesser rated as a bike its for men with hairs on their chests.

The 1100 is a wildebeest that only wants to go in a straight line, but they're feckin powerful for a 1989 engine.

That was the bike that killed Phil Mellor. Lovely bloke, still greatly missed.

If you are, and I'm not suggesting for one moment that you are, a convicted paedophile it's a great place as the admins will seemingly do anything to protect your "rights" at the expense of those who aren't convicted paedophiles.

Doesn't seem that bad a price to me. They're making more money now as the people who lusted after them when they were a pup have got the kids out of the house and far enough away that they're not paying for em*.
