Gresham street in Smithfield,Belfast. c1970s.

Two pet shops side by side and they hated each other!

The pet shop is where my mum bought me my dog in the 60s and Andrews Motorcycle Depot is where I bought my Z1 some 10 years later.

I did once see an MTB rider out in the wilds trying to do a 'get-you-home' fix by stuffing a tyre with grass. Never did find out if it worked. :D

Closer to the truth than you might think.
Local religious group, more changes to the stairs than Hogwarts and to my eyes building regs say you can't have open risers on a public staircase, only allowed on domestic.
We're fitting em, not exactly in the best conditions safety wise and I'd laugh like a drain if they were condemned by building control.
We've told the customer that the staircase they designed isn't allowed but they know better.

They sacked their artichoke and have a hobbit looking bloke who reckons he's a structural engineer running their job.

If he's a structural engineer I'm a cheese and pickle sarnie.

If it were in a domestic setting I'd actually be reasonably happy with the way its turning out, but it's not so I'll take photos and raise any objections so I'm not the one carrying the can if building control come round with their eyes open.

I knew it wouldn't have much mileage!

The lad spent hours signing t shirts, having pics taken and all with a smile on his dial.
