Exhaust aside learner bike done

First shake down ride done, was only gonna be 20mins but turned into two hours as I was enjoying it. Few jobs noted, brakes weren’t too hot, could do with a bit more ride height and gear lever needs moving. Sorted all that tonight, found some new track pads so fitted them with a change of brake fluid. Dropped forks through 5mm and adjusted lever. Think that’ll do as it handled superbly and on the small roads I was on I didn’t want any more power. Downsides….it’s old, boring looking and a learner bike. That aside it rides great

With the fairing lower off there was two brackets held in by bolts that are now too long. Quick trip next door to the machine shop and they turned me up some small crash bungs to take the place of the brackets, wheels out ready for tyres too then it’s nearly done

I'm currently waiting on delivery of a set of crash bungs to space out those bolts on my SV. From what I've read on the SV650 forums those brackets are scarce & there's also a demand for Genuine Suzuki lowers so you should have no problem moving them on.What shock have you gone for? There's hardly any damping left in my shock,but as I just use it as a fun little hack bike I think either a Hagon or Nitron will do for me.

I've got a YSS shock, the basic one and it was £290.
The fairing lowers have gone in the bin.....accidentally but I do have the brackets so I'll stick them on ebay
