One impressive thing today... I went to fill it up, it had 120 miles since being brimmed... I got 10L in there .

I dunno what that works out at... but i think it's good.

Sometimes squeezing in a time slot for a ride can be a shit thing. It can be difficult just to enjoy without feeling the pull of having to be somewhere at whatever o'clock. It takes your mind out of the moment and the experience is tainted.

Yeah these days there's not a lot of them. Me and the lad are away a lot at weekends, so even if it's just a 1 dayer, i then feel bad about shooting out all day on the motorbike the next day instead of spending some time with the wife.

Today @Welsh Muffin has gone to London and i had time to spare before my lad gets home from school and we head out MTBing, so it made sense to jump on the bike for a bit.

Actually the cost per litre doesn't matter,I went by the 10 litres for 120 miles anyway.

That's decent - unless you're comparing it to an 890R of course

My bike with double the weight, double the cylinders, almost double the weight and power... is showing 51mpg on the computer and I've only ridden it two up

Mine was showing mid 50s at 80 ish in Spain last year.

No, I filled it with the spare fuel I had in can from the trackday

Stripped and cleaned today... whipped off the engine cover as you get a bit of dust and mess under there but essentially that's all there is at the moment, a bit of dust and dead flies.

Although i've deffo clipped a boot on the exhaust and that isn't coming off no matter what i seem to use... but longer term plan is still to put an exhaust on there, i've just not really given much thought to what exhaust and when. But yeah it's something i need to consider and look into.
