996 reloaded

Post by hawkati »

Nope, not the matrix version, more like the rebuilt version. Some might know I completely spannered the 996 last September when the throttle grip spiraled out onto the brake lever guard and stuck wide open. I got lucky but the bike didn't- cost me approx £2.5k in repairs and thankfully it's nearly done.
Took it for a spin yesterday and it's tracking fine, steering & braking well and all is good. Just got to bung new tank & powdercoated wheels on and it's good to go. Plotting 1198s for the hellofit.
