What about a nice 1998 K1200RS, I can do you a special deal, much cheapness!

You are too kind... I'd look good on that in a one-piece I think.

I may have found the replacement already, but we'll see.

Yep pretty sad to see it go, they are a brilliant bike! The new owner seemed pretty happy though!

Plan is for something cheap and hopefully not too nasty!
The b1h zx6rs seem like a good choice as do the early fuel injected blades. I found a possible at a dealer in Preston but they said delivery is 200 but we don’t want to do it so that’s not going to happen.

I’ve messaged about 954 blade that’s done 63k, but just had brakes, discs fork service + tyres. It’s fairly local and a good price so that’s a potential.

It probably needs its own thread but I’ve given myself 2500 max to spend and a sports bike would be preferred so if anyone comes across anything…

You’re probably aware but the FB fireblade forum has bikes up for sale - prices seem a bit more sensible recently …

Yep cheers, I’ve been looking on the fireblade owners club bikes and parts for sale group. It’s so easy to miss stuff on fb though!

On a quick look there are a couple of B1H 2003 bikes at 3 grand but not a lot of that model underneath that money . I did spot a 2007 zx6r model which has the newer bodywork, full yoshimura underseat system and a lot of extras at 3 grand that has come up locally. Downside is 40k mileage

It seems 3k is the sweet spot for them, have you got a link to the 2007 one?

I’ve been looking a lot of fb marketplace, i really don’t find it easy to use. The local search seems to have a mind of its own!
