Out with a few friends one hot, sunny day we stopped at a cafe for lunch. As we were all leaving, the ride leader was frantically looking for his key. We made our way back to the bikes without him, waited and chatted for a while. Eventually, I put my tank bag back on my bike and then realised that his key was stuck to the bottom of it. I hadn't noticed his key when I put my tank bag on the tableYorick wrote: ↑Fri May 27, 2022 3:53 pm That screw you couldn't find.
When sticking all the crap back on the Suzuki after blowing the main fuse, I was missing one small screw. I use one of those magnetic tray but still lost the bugger. The floor is painted white so nowhere for it to hide. Nada.
Bollox...
Putting the tray away today...

Re: utterly random picture thread.
I'd been riding a hired BMW around Italy for the best part of a week and it was only on the last day I noticed a spare key hanging out of the seat lock. I handed it back with the key I'd been given and the bloke muttered something I didn't quite understand but which I took to mean, 'I'd been wondering where the fuck that'd got to...'

They're building a few houses over the dried river bed. This one has a glass wall in the pool which acts as a window for the basement room

Trying to find the wires to test the alternator. Thought I'd take a pic to scare @weeksy before I wash the wires

Gaia exhibition at Rochester Cathedral. Went for an organ recital which was brilliant. He ended of Land of Hope and Glory by Williams.

The definition of patience.
Smart breed, my arse.
Sydney loves to drink out of the water feature. I drained it to spruce it up a bit and she was not happy. Now patiently waiting for it to refill...Smart breed, my arse.

I saw that very same ball in Milton Keynes shopping centre. Not quite as picturesque a building (tis listed though) but I reckon the closest Starbucks is more convenient.the_priest wrote: ↑Sat Jun 04, 2022 5:27 pm

Coffee down in the crypt, so convenience is still there...Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Sun Jun 05, 2022 4:31 pmI saw that very same ball in Milton Keynes shopping centre. It might to you, but a bit of explanation could help others understand too.

Re: utterly random picture thread.
You are right hence Might Explain. Look at the damp patch to the left on the body panel. This has to be a diesel stain as it motor had not moved for two weeks when i took the picture. May only slosh out when full but for sure its not meant to be like that. There is also two rubber elbow joints at the start of the fuel lines what look damp so may as well replace them also. I should be getting around 30-35MPG. It was down to 22 with the buggered pump. Got a recon and timing chain and now down to 18mpg. Pulls and drives to well for to have made a mistake in the fuel timing. No wheel/brake drag to has to be a leak or injector issue. Got a mate sending me injectors to try next.

The whole area looks damp to me? I'd expect see dry dust up there, not darkened damp stuff. Run your finger through it and give it a sniff, you'll soon smell if its diesel.
