Re: Subscription Button
Is that the 'Digi' forum skin you're using?, if so, how did you get blue text instead of the annoying orange? I assume sorcery was involved

Re: Subscription Button
Thanks Mum, I did try that, but get a mix of blue & orange (see screenshot), exactly the same as plain ol' 'Digi'. 'Digi Orange' gives a mix of grey & orange. Think I have a lemon subscription

Re: Subscription Button
Sadly i can't do a lot about where the button is displayed or not within different skins.
I use the default skin and it's clearly obvious in several places where to donate, subscribe is a bit harder. Maybe i need to look into a more obvious solution.
I'm certainly curious as to how i can entice more to subscribe though, we're not exactly overflowing with subscribers out of the 315 members we have about 20 subscribers. But i'm not sure i can 'give' a lot more within the forum options to entice people to join. There's only things like attachments, private message quota etc that i can give as a 'benefit'.

I reckon on TRC that less than half were paid up members. Too many folk like everything for free.

Re: Subscription Button
Does the blue username indicate subscribership? (I'm using the 'Elegance SteelBlue' theme for reference)
How many users are actually 'regulars' who post daily?

Re: Subscription Button
I'm prepared to bung a bit more in and a few others will too.
But it would feel more like a community if everybody did their bit.

Done now,anyway.
Maybe we should have the power of smite. I loved a good smiting.

Re: Subscription Button
Maybe put a direct link to it in the subs and donations section and on this thread?

Re: Subscription Button
They're people who are subscribers.
I don't know if it's a bit over pretentious etc though and whether being anonymous as to who is or isn't a subscriber.

Do you get a pin badge, membership card, lanyard and a monthly club magazine?

I'd happily increase the subscription to say £30 a year and we all get a t-shirt. But maybe I could set that as a 2nd tier sub option as no one apart from me has wanted to buy any of them yet, despite the fact I think they look cool.
