You don't have to seal the spoke holes if you're outside the pressurised bit of the tyre.

Weren't GS wheels the first spoked tubeless wheels? I know the CX was first production tubeless wheels but they and everything after weren't spoked were they?

Tbh, I think black is the best colour for the gs and I think I like the spokes. Possibly the nicest one I've seen.

Last three times I've sold a car to a dealer/partex they've refused to take any receipt's, etc...

They only wanted the Manual, Service Book and V5, everything else I was asked to keep/dispose of.

The GS service book has no stamps, I'm thinking of posting it off to Guildford for them to stamp it up for me, they have the history on their computer.

When I lost the service book for my Mini I rang a dealer and they told me they would order one, stamp it up for the services they did and then post it to a 2nd dealer who had also done some services. I assume most places will do this if asked nicely.

I've plugged my red dongle in today.

It sits in a slot in the rider seat.

If you plug it into the loom under the seat it enables selection of 'Enduro Pro' rider mode. Which allows you to disable the ABS fully. I guess BMW can't fit it for legal reasons, but it's nice to have it as a user fit item.

Not that I'll ever use Enduro Pro mode.

Seems odd considering you can turn the ABS off on the old 1150 with a push of a button.

I'm interested on how the LC1200's hold up as the guy who I bought the 1150 off has had two engines blow up.

Does look well on triple black.

ABS wasn't a legal requirement on the 1150 tho'

Since 2015 (iirc) all bikes over 125cc have to have ABS fitted as standard.

You really, really ought to be able to turn ABS off on anything that's designed for any sort of off-road use....even if most of them live on tarmac 100% of the time.
Doubt is not a pleasant condition.

I think you can do it on 2021 on Himalayans but I don't think they have the same regulations to meet as BMW.

I could cope with ABS on the front of my enduro bikes.
But often you want to lock the back wheel up.

I thought the same till i tried to ride the Multitrada on loose gravel and rocky dirt tracks ....... it was impossible to get any drive unless i switched the bike to Enduro mode and which disabled all the TC and ABS so the bike would actually drive forward on all the loose shit ;)

Enjoy the new big bus, i liked them a lot when i test rode the same bike, just not quite enough over the Ducati to buy one
