Monitor - any ideas
Trying to find a 'budget' (under £200) 21" monitor with a height adjustable stand.
But failing.
Any ideas?

Try Elf computers, it's used gear but they are very helpful and efficient. I've no financial interest in them but am have bought from them recently.

There are plenty of options if you scrap the height adjustable stand and place it on top of a ream of paper instead.

I might be content with that, some might not
I've had enough trouble convincing her to even consider having a monitor for her laptop.

Re: Monitor - any ideas
Buy cheap monitor, fit to after-market adjustable stand.
Get a stand that clamps to the desk (assuming desk allows this) and you can free up desk space and the monitor is floating over the desk out of the way.

IIRC Dell P series all have height adjustable stands, but the semi conductor shortage has made them exepsive hens teeth.

All of our Dell monitors in the office are height adjustable, it might be worth looking on eBay for companies selling off old stock. 4k is the thing now so they could be really cheap

Desk space - or lack of for an extra monitor - has been one of the objections.Rockburner wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 2:22 pm Buy cheap monitor, fit to after-market adjustable stand.

My work monitor is a Dell, and adjustable.

Lolz.
Height adjustable for me is one more, or less, book underneath. It's not like I grow during the day.
If multiple people were using it then maybe yes.

The Dell height adjustable Dell's often rotate too.
You bang it up to the top rotate it 90 degrees and work on your Word document in Portrait. Spin it back for a bit of browsing, etc..

Half descent monitors will attach to a TV wall mount. If your monitor can then wall mount it. Exrtra desk space also

Ditto on the wall mount. I have a nice 4K 32" monitor as it makes life so much easier with documents, spreadsheet etc... Worth every penny and it was a touch over £200 a couple of years ago now.
