I need to find a bookshop that's shutting down.

Few and far between, and still up there @ £10 + per book.Horse wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 3:49 pmOnline second hand sales?MrLongbeard wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 3:25 pm Trying to find a way of adding all 14 Arisen books into my library without chucking hundreds of quid at it, and failing badly.

No rush, just an itch I need to scratch.

I'd make a joke along the lines of 'cracking baps', but I've seen you in a wet suit and wouldn't want to give you the wrong idea.

Re: A right now thread
Just did a quick headcount of the folk in my favourite bar in the square.
Normally 80:20 Brits to Spanish.
But last few times I've been, it's been 50:50.
The Brits have been put off. But Spaniards are getting really cheap deals to come over here.
We currently have mainland folk in our apartment.
Hmmm....

Drinking a beer and eating a cheese and pickle sandwich in the airport lounge. Just heard my flight home has been delayed an hour.

Don't stay inactive. Backs hate that.
Gentle stretching - Google 'Cat and Cow' and try to do that along with other spinal twists. Stop if it hurts!
Then swim and walk (not at the same time, obvs).
And despite what anybody else says, alcohol and co-codamol bloody well does work.

Just watched a toddler eat most of a 12" pizza by herself
The local wood fired place is doing the eat out to help out thing and they're not bothering with small pizzas at the mo. Therefore Baby D got an adult sized one and inhaled most of it.
I'm mildly impressed.

Right now feeling a little emotional. Today would have been my silver wedding anniversary.
I've ended up doing far better than I ever imagined and have an amazing life.
Lots of mixed emotions.

Watched the Honda being ridden away. No longer my bike. I'm without a bike for the first time in a very long time. Going to be a long week... and then I'll get something exciting to ride!
Proverbs 17:9
One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.
