Thursday looks like a mixed bag, weatherwise, but the rest of the weekend looks better at this stage.

NW200 was the first road race I went to. Saw David Jeffries race there. Then headed to the IoM for the TT in the same year and arrived trackside just as the emergency vehicles were going onto the track after his last accident :( :(

Still love road racing though. Desperately want to go back to the IoM soon, but probably won't be this year :( :(

The NW200 has similarities to the IOM races. There are loads of people who have no interest in the racing, but go along for the party. Those people don't go to the other lesser profile road races, which is one of the reasons I prefer them.

I wouldn't disagree with that, but the bigger events get the higher profile riders that attract the bigger crowds that spend the bigger money. I'd imagine the NW and the TT will be the last to fall. 👍

I was talking to a friend in the motor trade,he works for one of the outfits lending cars to the riders. He says it'll be incidents like this that will make sponsors walk away. Apparently that car was around £70-80k and is now a total loss. The carefree attitude towards those inclined to back the sport also sticks in the craw.

Messy.

That pic where Hicky is with the Beemer was on his Instagram page the other day, he’s now removed it.

Glenn and Lee Johnston pull out of the superstock race. Glenn stating “I’ve got two young kids, hope people can understand”………..

He doesn’t have to justify anything. He can do what he wants and if anyone questions that then they can get to fuck.

He’s on fire, conditions are to be better for the next races so I’m sure he’ll be good as gold, some pace 💪🏻🔥

Three more riders have opted out of the Superstock race due to the wet conditions - Michael Dunlop, Michael Sweeney and John McGuinness.

Edit. I'll leave you to it Wull.
