Sweat- and how to stop it getting in my eyes
Riding a MTB on the road to keep fitness up, it's very warm here lately 30c +
During the bigger climbs I generate so much forehead sweat that it runs into my eyes, stings like Ef and I can't see. Which is a tad inconvenient.
Are sweat bands still a thing, or is there another solution ?
PS I don't wear a helmet for these rides, my bike helmet doesn't look like it would absorb anything anyway !

Sweat band or snood folded up to make a sweat band and then lid. Yes it does wok but remember to wring them out at the top.

I'm trying to remember who it was, but a British Enduro World Championship rider used to stick a panty pad to his forehead to combat the sweat.

One of those head tubes - or a skull cap made from the same material - make the sweat dissipate

I use a sweatband in the winter when I'm riding indoors to keep the sweat out of my eyes and it works. I don't seem to need one when I'm riding outdoors. (Maybe I'm not trying hard enough. )

Cycling cap?
I wear one under the helmet on road rides and have been known to on longer MTB rides in warmer weather as well.
They're great for stopping the sweat running in to your eyes.

Rub a (thick'ish) strip of vaseline across your forehead so that the sweat will run to the sides?
Actually, I have no idea if it works, but it was the only thing I could think of under pressure!!

I have a Peleton cap.
Bit of an odd shape as they come down a bit further on my head than a normal cap but that ensures they don't blow off my head.
Mine says Campagnolo for that 1970s look.
Sometimes nice to give it a squirt of cold water on it, wring it out but wear it wet.

Halo sweat bands work, you can get them on Amazon.
I picked up a Specialized UV summer cap in the US, that works too. I've not seen them here but you'll find something similar. Maybe something here https://www.prendas.co.uk/collections/c ... cling-caps
I've also had success with bandana type caps, check out Chain Reaction.
