Android Part 3 - Printing
While I'm on a roll, so to speak...
I've never bothered with trying to print from a mobile device - usually just mail stuff to SWMBO, with 'Please print' as the message header.
Knowing the printer drivers snakes and ladders for Windows devices when moving around various offices has put me off somewhat.
Anyone do this routinely? It will be just the one printer and I guess it will depend on the availability of drivers for a printer that's a few years old. Contemplating updating to an ink tank printer so that may be the time to get it sorted.

Often do it.
Sometimes it's Print, sometimes it's Share > Google print.
Depends on the file format.
Simple enough though

We have a HP printer, I use the HP print service plugin. Never had a problem printing from Android. Just click print and it does what it needs to...

If it's a wi-fi printer then no problem

Yup. Canon Pixma with wi-fi. I'll have a dabble.

Wow! That was painless! Share>Print worked a treat. Last time I tried (some years ago) it was a real technical safari and I gave up and never bothered again.
Thanks.

Most printers have an app now. Mine is Epsom and the app has never failed over wi-fi
