They really need to resurface the roads in Essex

Even old Sir Rod was resurfacing his local road near Harlow, give him a shout

That Termi is £550 to £644!

You can get a complete set of ally-looking luggage for them

Gizza go mister.
 That Termi will be going on eBay then and a lextek will be replacing it!

Brilliant. No mucking about and that looks like a cracking nice bike. I reckon you may well like that, rugged, tough and plenty of go.

Soz, I'm late to this thread.
Top work on the Weeksy-esque impluse buying.
I've fancied one of these since they came out but my commute has got 30+ motorway miles on it so not sure if it would be suitable.
love the look of them though and they seem to be really well put together.

Conrgats!

@maccecht He used to have/has one of these. Should be a good bike for some motorway work, it is a beeeg schookir thing.

Thanks. I was reluctant to let the NC700X go but it was too high and too heavy. I did consider one of these before but dismissed it cos if the weight, but it looks like it's more manageable and easier for me to put my leg over etc. Pretty stoked about finally going for one, even if it is more than I like to spend on a commuter. Just hope it works out as I literally have no idea what else to buy!

Yes. Now I've bought it, I've started watching some youtube reviews! :wtf: :D Turns out its a damn good all rounder, good commuter, good tourer, good explorer etc blah. Here's a review from an Africa Twin owner...

@Maccecht does indeed have one, green camo paint job. This is his second, the first one got nicked.

I'm not a fan of big scoots but the X-Adv is very appealing and was fun to ride. I think the 17" front wheel might help on that as Maccecht's Burgman handles worse than a shopping trolley.

Him sticking car tyres on it won't help either. :wtf:

Struggling to insure the poxy thing! Bennetts won't add it to my multi-bike policy as the insurers are refusing it. The referral team are looking to mirror my NCD to run it on a separate policy and I've go to wait to hear back. Apart from that, with no NCD its £675 FC. look like the MT-07 will have to be sold...

Think i may have found a way around it. I'll just swap the policy onto the new bike and then put temporary insurance on the MT through Bikesure which is part of Adrian Flux. Every time I do anything with Bennetts its £40 adjustment/admin fee, so it might work out cheaper?

I was slightly concerned that I'd be too tall for this to fit my legs on comfortably, but looking at this video,it appears they are bigger bike than I thought?

Today is D-day (delivery day). I'm slightly nervous after, well, basically getting ripped off with the Tmax on a blind, distance selling deal! But these bikes are nothing if not robust and it'll be back on the van if anything looks remotely wrong with it!

Hopefully, all will be well though and it'll be here early enough that I can get out on a ride on it and check it out before it's thrown into its commuting duties tomorrow!
