Danny Kent
When he was arrested and found guilty last year, I thought it was all over. I'm glad he got a second chance
And he's just qualified top in BSB Superstock at Donington His time wouldn't have been a disgrace in the premier class
I still remember his amazing first part of the season that he won the world championship..
3, 1, 1, 1, 4, 2, 1, 3, 1
The second part was pants, but you can't take away the above series of wins and podiums. Was great to watch..
Some big names behind him, Oliveira, Bagnaia, Brad Binder, and a certain fast Froggy
Hope he goes well

Re: Danny Kent
A third place isn't too bad really. They're a bit bigger than the tiddlers he rode ;D
He got the fastest lap, which was faster than Taylor McKenzie's best, who was 15th in the BSB race

I hope he does well. He obviously lost his way on and off track, let's hope he can find his way back

Re: Danny Kent
glad to see the lad back up there, me and a mate had a chat with him the season he won when we were at Le Mans, was a nice lad and had time for us. he's been training hard and really hope he can do something.

Re: Danny Kent
He impressed me a lot in his championship season, both with his ability and what seemed like a very down to earth professional attitude. But then it all went completely tits up. This isn't so much a second chance rather 3rd or 4th. Hope he does OK, there's only so many opportunities and good will you can throw away.

Re: Danny Kent
Without spoiling things too much, he's not exactly set the world on fire at Donington this weekend

Re: Danny Kent
I waited up to see the race. They showed 20 mins of 600 Stock, which is the kids. Then about 17 seconds of 1000 stock, so fast it made no sense.

Yep, my feelings too.
Shame. as Stock Thou is one of my favourites and always some of the best racing.
That was a nasty fall that Richard Cooper took - maybe because the race was moved to the end of the day they took a production decision that they couldn't really include much of it.

Re: Danny Kent
It appears I did him an injustice. I think I was seeing him as being jack Kennedy in BSB, not the podiums in superstock.
