Avoiding the racing section until the highlights have aired is easy, avoiding headlines that appear on the new posts page not so much unless you avoid the site altogether.

Never needed to in the past as most folk were reasonably sensible about it, but yep I'll go hang out somewhere else for a day or two now.

As MrLongbeard says, I do avoid any thread about racing and have deleted a few of the racing pundits on twitter in order to avoid spoilers, I generally use ‘new posts’ to read the site so when spoilers appear in the thread title its a bit frustrating.
I don’t have access to btsport this year so will have to wait until 9.50pm tonight before I can see any of the racing.

I’d recommend not using the “new posts” method until you’ve watched the racing, and stay away from the racing section. It is really as simple as that, I also don’t understand why it bothers people, if you don’t want to know stay off social media, it’s the only way to not see any spoilers.
