Is that not a good thing? And tbf, you don't know why they are :)
Think the one he is talking about will be St Pancras station.

Yes. But he said surprisingly large number. I just wondered why that wouldn’t be a good thing? I mean. I hate masks. But here they’ve lifted restrictions but not for places like supermarkets and public transport

If people voluntarily want to wear one, then surely that’s not a bad things?

21st for Jockland where we can be liberated and burn the masks. TBF most folk are not bothering now apart from the shops. I was in Edinburgh on Saturday and hardly anyone was wearing a mask on the train. Pubs were not bothered either about mask when going in and out or trips to the loo. The Restaurant did but they were short staffed (Presume covid) and probably never wanted anyone else going off sick.

Read this on my work 'IntraNews' page:

"The menopause is a normal part of ageing for women and for some trans men."

Now that's woke turned up to 11. 8-)

'People with cervixes' would have been easier to say.

I was tempted to email to the author of the piece and tell her* that by specifically referencing 'trans' men she is, by default marginalising them. Then I realised I really couldn't be bothered.

*I know it's 'her' because her email footer contains her chosen pronouns ('She/Her', in case you were interested)

I 'walked' to a bar to meet a mate for coffee. He's a bit of a sweetie as he does prefer me to wait till he's near so he can walk with me - to pick me up if I fall    But it's handy for door opening :D

Home to chill for a bit, online French lesson at 7 for an hour then 'walk' to the pizza place to meet a friend that's been in the UK for a few weeks. He got ack Tuesday and skied yesterday, so today is the first time we can catch up. And I do need the 'walking' practice!! :D :D

I've realised that today is the 25th anniversary of me being with my current employer.

Fuck me. Twenty five years. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Today I had a funeral planning meeting with a family, dad was 100 when he passed on. Lots of amazing memories from them. Went home to sort out eulogy and service order.

Was in touch with solicitors. Sale completed. Wife and I are no longer at risk of being homeless. Woo Hoo. Cracked open the prosecco and drank the bottle!

Had a lovely WhatsApp chat with my son who is away at uni, all going well for him. He is living carefully within his budget and enjoying his course.

Daughter had cancelled lessons so could come home early and just relax at home with us.

In all a rather lovely day and now I am about to do an online course with a group of people, Alpha online session. Rather fun.

Got the call from the FIL this morning to say that the MIL had passed away. No surprise as she had been deteriorating quickly of late.

RIP Carol.

Got the Sprint back in 1 piece and started up, rear brake is binding a bit but if it stays dry tomorrow it might get a short run to see if it frees up.

After removing the stickers of the fairing there was a hard ridge of glue outlining them left visible so spent a good hour trying to clean it off to no avail.

Indicator wiring is tidied up and heat shrinked now. Shortened the rear guard to tidy up the back end a bit which I think has worked well. Fitted the passenger grab rail I picked up for £10 of fleabay, original one was missing as it had a rack fitted when I bought it.

Got the assorted jubilee clips off the exhausts which were meant to hold on the covers which I've removed as they were 70% rust.

Out on the crf with 2 mates. I'm pretty happy on stones and borders but those deep ruts full of muddy water had me today. Off 3 times, broken clutch lever and left hand heated grip is unstuck again. I must be gripping too hard. I used gorilla glue last time, need something stronger, ????

I'm still on stock tyres and now they're worn abit, they are shite in mud. If I go for a muddy tyre then they wear too quick on the road, so after good recommendations for tyres and glue. 👍

Work cancelled for the day, so Filly very kindly allowed me to help decorate the bathroom. And that's not a euphemism.

Wired in the towbar electrics I fitted yesterday. Didn’t sort the Triumph rear pads as they didn’t arrive, poxy post office.
Tidied up the box in the garden where all my tools are.
Changed the bed covers.
Had a crap Tesco steak.
Now thinking about getting ready for work, it’s the thought that counts.
