Good odds on this Rangey. If it hasn't snapped its crank by 132k I reckon it probably won't! Think I might have a punt as I haven't had one for ages...

I wouldnt mind a proper RR for a next car but high on my list is no stupidly fragile 20" rims. Every time I hit a pothole I'm worried I'll need another new wheel.

Maybe not. For anew comp firm, that's a lot of ticket sales to make up in a couple of days...Asian Boss wrote: ↑Wed Mar 02, 2022 7:51 pmMaybe worth a little flutter!Taipan wrote: ↑Wed Mar 02, 2022 6:27 pm Cant see this going ahead as its crazy odds?!

Still have time to post a free entry in then, even if their T&Cs are sailing a bit close to the wind.

That ain't going nowhere
2500 tickets must sell or 24 hour extensions will be added - this is limited to 3 x extension then a 75% cash alternative based on ticket sales will be given - if 2500 ticket sales are not achieved
Hero competitions will carry out the live draw when the timer runs, Unless we specify in the description a minimum requirement of ticket sales - We may extend a prize 3 times. And if the minimum requirement has not been reached a cash alternative will be given at 75% of ticket sales. This is to support our growth so we can continue to operate the business.

I'd try for that, but generally you have to be a uk resident to win (or at least, to get the prize!) so I just watch from afar!! I'd quite like one but I don't fancy spending the money on one, it's too risky on depreciation.

Re: Online competitions for cars, bikes and tech goodies.
For me, I'm so rarely in the UK and for such short times when I am, its just not worth it - not that I'd win with my luck!! LOLPotter wrote: ↑Tue Mar 08, 2022 12:53 pmI saw that in their T&Cs and it says you have to be located in the UK, not a UK resident.
I assume that means because they won't send your prize abroad like some other companies.
Tbf I usually am in the UK when I enter their competitions because it would be a PITA to have to come home to take delivery - and you're not allowed to have it delivered to anyone else (I checked).

Re: Online competitions for cars, bikes and tech goodies.
I would enter, but there are speed bumps where I live.
Much like bikes, fitting quality suspension to a car is unlikely to make it worse so long as you don't have stupid hard springs. So ditch the snowplough and it'd probably be quiet alright. You can actually get Öhlins shocks as a (5k!) option on Polestar EVs.
