I bought 2 screens for it. One is (I think) a Yamaha one, which will be the summer screen. Not entirely sure it'll fit though as the seller says its fits all MT-07s from 2015-20? The other is a Puig touring one for the rest of the winters, or possibly permanent if it works well?

Looks like it fits to the fork bolts like this slightly smaller one. Good news as not wasted money.

Parking at work today and my colleague walked past. As he did he said nice to you looking after your new bike! I replied, what? He said , look at the fooling state of it! So I did and he may have a point…

Pah! He should have said 'Nice to see it being used'.

Bike looks like it is actually being ridden! Best state a bike can be in is having been used. Those are not wide, I've seen much wider ones on sports bikes. At least you are keeping it shiny side up.

To be fair mate, that's a used bike and that's what used bikes look like. I didn't own a car until I was 28 and so my bike got used pretty much everyday for everything and they only got washed once every couple of weeks max cos I was in my 20's and on the lash and the gash at weekends.

Now bikes are my pride and joy, but then they were better/faster 2 wheeled cars.

Can't wait for the new fairing to turn up! The one that is on there directs the airflow, literally, right at my head. Today I rode in torrential rain and the turbulence around the visor on the A13 meant the rain just would not clear from my visor. I had to turn off the A13 and go back home via back roads!

That is the one downside of riding in the rain, not getting wet, but visibility due to speckled visor that does not clear!

This was really strange, the turbulence was like a cyclone in front of the visor. Swirling rain and impossible to clear???

A vortex just where you don't want one!

Had an adjustable screen that in one position was like putting your head in the washing machine. Move it an inch and perfectly calm. 👌

I knew it aimed the wind at my kid but didn’t remove it as I’ve another on the way. If id had an Allen key on me yesterday it’d have ended up being lobbed in the hedgerows! Ridden bikes on the road for more years than I care to remember, but never Experienced anything like that before!? Hopefully the Puig replacement will be here before I need to ride it again. Might have another stablemate for it over the weekend. I’ve said too much…

New
puig dctreen is on. Think I preferred the OEM clear one, but this has to function over form. Find out if it’s any good tomorrow…
