Re: BPW closed
Following the Prime Minister's announcement today (20/03/20) to tighten restrictions on leisure and hospitality businesses we will be closing the bike park in full until further notice. It is with a heavy heart we do this, but as we have said before we must all play our part. Apologies to those planning to visit this weekend.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the surge of kind words and support that has flooded in after yesetrday's post, it's a huge morale booster and we really appreciate it. We also want to say thanks to the team here at the park, everyone has stepped up to this challenge with courage and a sense of humour and together we will weather this storm, BPW team, we salute you!
We wish everyone the very best over the coming months, we will all face challenges, let's do our very best to help each other, be kind and see if we can make some good of the situation.
We ask that riders do stay away during this shutdown period. All trails will be closed and will have a staff presence on site, we will not always have the qualified first aid presence we maintain for riders, site access will be restricted and extracting an injured rider could be a major resource drain so please be respectful and stay away until we re-open.
In the meantime, we will be keeping you updated via social media, keep in touch and let's ride this out together
