2 way indoor security camera with monitor accessible via Andoid

Does such an affordable system exist?

It would be great if I could set up a camera/baby monitor in my Mum's room that I can access via Android and it would be even better if that camera also had a monitor so my Mum could see me. My Mum would not be able to operate it as she doesn't have the mental capacity so it would have to be operated by me on an Android phone. She has wifi.

I'd like to be able to go out, monitor my Mum and the icing on the cake would be if she could see me too, not just audio.

Before you buy check that you can make her end auto answer, no good if you call and it's waiting for someone to press a button. Then make sure it won't auto answer anyone who fancies connecting.

Echo show would also do the trick

Echo show is the simplest and cheapest I expect, not tried the FB Portal though. On the Echo Show you can "drop in" on the remote device and get live audio and video both ways. The 8 is better than the 5 (bigger screen and better audio) for not much more money, and they are often discounted on Amazon.

I've installed a £30 Blink camera which does 90% of the job. It works well enough for the money. I wanted a way that my Mum could see whoever is talking to her and one day I may work that out but happy for now.
