i get you 100%... but.. Hmmmm
You'd probably end up with an immaculate shitter.
The problem is that i don't like many bikes and i don't enjoy riding bikes that i don't enjoy so to speak.

So what could i buy that would tick any boxes at all as a bit of a winter donkey, i have no idea at all. Give me something a bit crap and i'll either hate it or try and make it better.. both of which are pointless

Well i'm not sure 'perfect conditions' quite describes today, but they were not quite terrible either

But the sun was out and i'd guess the temperature was 12-13deg.... so it was time to play for the first ride of the year.

The good part is, the bike is still glorious. The fuelling is just sooooo smooth and nice, on, off, holding throttle, anything, it just does it lovely.

I couldn't really push on today as it wasn't nice... But it went exactly where it was supposed to, effortlessly.

The only downside.... jeeeeeeeez it got dirtier than i thought !!!!!

The dirt will be in all those hard to see places. You'll need to strip bits off and take look.

Lol sorry, do you think this was someone else posting? I've already had it up on stands and stripped down. It's 99% give or take. The final bits will be done tomorrow.

I've done what I needed which was a little blast out. Just to make it feel like I own a bike.

Tomorrow will be ACF50 again and it can sit until the roads are 100%

I think a ride on the 1st Feb is quite impressive for me

Aye, well that's all sorted.. it's nice and clean now and all the ACF50 bits needed have been done.... whilst it's a nice day today, the roads are wetter than yesterday and i've had my little fix for a while.

I don't think any of them are much better or worse to look at in honesty.

I wonder if the 07 has the same problem as the 09 with spray when short tails fitted. 🤷🏻‍♂️
