My next bike
Definitely getting itchy feet now about a new bike. So chucking my idle musings here.
Was looking at this on the weekend on Bike Trader.
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/bike-detai ... 500&page=1
And today they've just knocked £500 quid off it
I think the 750 makes more sense to me for the road but objectively the 1000 is better being lighter, more power, better suspension, alloy frame/swingarm . Hmmm.
Was also looking at these 2 750's
I like this colour scheme as thought it looked great in the flesh when I saw one. Better than in the pictures.

And LGF mates have a blue one same as his. Maybe we could get matching paddock jackets and bumming hats?
https://orwell.co.uk/used-bikes-ipswich ... 100938.htm
So far mainly been looking at the Suzuki's just cos it was off the back of looking at TL1000's. But found a great Z900 2020 model as well but it's gone. I'd ideally want a 2020 on as they get TC, some suspension changes and TFT dash which seems a worthwhile upgrade on the 2019.
Not got to Yamaha's yet. So I will be chucking up some soon.
This might be good if it didn't have the grim sticker kit
https://orwell.co.uk/used-bikes-ipswich ... /95214.htm
I suspect I'll be chucking some more bikes up here over the next couple of weeks/months.
Oh and in case someone has found a blinder my short list is ideally under £7k but maybe over for the right bike. Mainly naked bikes. Oh as new as possible ideally.
KTM 790s...maybe
KTM 1090 - non R
Kwak Z9
Suzuki GSXS 750. Maybe the 1000, I need to ride both really just to see if the thou is too much on the road for me.
Yam MT09/XSR (not the blue colour)/Tracer, only 900s. I want a bit more than the 690 and I don't think the 7 will give me what I'm looking for.

Re: My next bike
If someone told me I had to buy a bike tomorrow, i'd be 50/50 between 2nd hand Z900RS' and R Nine-T's.

Re: My next bike
I really like the R Nine Ts but they hold their money and I want low maintenance with no dealer servicing ideally.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 4:59 pm If someone told me I had to buy a bike tomorrow, i'd be 50/50 between 2nd hand Z900RS' and R Nine-T's.
The RS looks amazing but don't think I want one

Re: My next bike
That model was very comfy. If I was in UK I'd sell mine and buy that.

Re: My next bike
Jeez, are we playing 'Ugly Bike Bingo' here?
Just add a couple of images of MT Yamaha's & a pointy KTM,it'll look like a page from the Ugly bike thread

Not sure on the looks of them, the 2nd one is more my price range though and looks better, although hard to tell as looks like my dad took the pictures! Do they actually want to sell it with pics like that
