They're £130 or so at Yamaha. I think it's 30mm raise. May be an idea to buy/try ? Worst case, if you don't like it, i'll take it off you afterwards.
Sounds interesting. Not sure I need it now, but may well do down the line? @Couchy , do you have a price with P&P please?

Yes, but the ride home tonight was the third heat cycle, if indeed that does anything? Find out tomorrow I suppose?

I like the seat cowl. I've fitted them before to bikes as with the pillion pegs removed, there is no point to the pillion seat and it looks odd to me.

I grew up watching proddy racers where small nose fairings and belly pans were always fitted, so its doesn't look wrong to me and again I've fitted them to bikes. TBH I'm not too sure about this one, but, it does keep the crap off of the engine quite a bit. So as a year-round commuter, it may be a good idea to have it on throug winter, regardless of looks, just for protection sake?

Yes, EML still on and that's four heat cycles now, so I don't think it'll be sorting itself out. They may have fitted the wrong battery, which apparently can cause it? The OBD2 adaptor lead was only £8 delivered so I've ordered one in case I need it more than once, but thanks for the offer of lending yours. Bike runs like a champ, so not expecting too much of an issue and a new battery fitting often does this. On cars you have to code the battery in, but I've never heard of that on a bike? At the weekend I'll disconnect the battery and reconnect it in case they did it the wrong way round? I'll know more when the lead arrives...

This one just popped up for sale on Friendface Marketplace.

I think they were a bit scared of crashing.

Saw a few like that when I was looking. One had twin rear calipers on as well. They are the darling of the stunters for sure. This guy even teaches you how to wheelie them!

OBD2lead arrived and I scanned it. Got a p2195 code, which is the o2 sensor? Maybe it had an aftermarket exhaust on before?Maybe it had an o2 blanking kit on? I'll probably never know, but the code is cleared and I'll just wait to see if it comes back on?

I've got the T&G peg eliminator blank things now, so will fit them, and other bits, next weekend. It's kinda weird but because the graphics all match, it looks OEM IRL? Well to me it does anyway.
