Dunno about everyday, but today I had a bit of smile on me mooie.

The in-laws are currently dossing at Chez Gremlin, looking for a bungalow locally. M-I-L is not in a good way, with dementia adding to her health woes and disabilities. Gremlinette just told me that she's arranged for a couple of friends to pop over and they're all going to sit with her, break out the tea and biscuits, maybe do her nails, and just generally keep her entertained.

Bless 'em. Nice bunch of kids.

A detached bungalow could be a very canny investment right now with the recent planning announcement. If it works out I can add 50 square metres to mine for about 10k (plus all the other bits I want at the same time).

To be on the safe side. I won't be on anyone's foe list.

I cycled this morning!! Stationary bike in a gym!!

The rehab place has a gym but with COVID restrictions I can only get there for 30 mins twice a week

Started yesterday and did 8km in 22 mins and increased the resistance up by four thingies in that session. Speed 19-24kph

Today the physical rehab guy came to see me and asked if I was free this morning as there was a space!!!

26 mins. 10km. Higher resistance and speed!!!

Well chuffed as I didn’t think I’d manage ten minutes let alone more than 20 two days in a row!!! :D

I guess anyone with kids will point to that as their #1 thing, I would.

After that the bikes and the cats, refreshingly bullshit free :)

My wife telling me to get a bike because it makes me smile.. that made me smile all right!

Rockburners K1200R... I want power again! Stuck my bike on Autotrader as brother does not want to ride anymore, so I'll see what I get for it.

Today, I cut my boiled potatoes (with my lunch) with the knife in my right hand!!!!!! Such a small thing to make me very very VERY happy!

Ok, the orthotic was holding my wrist straight (and helping my finger and thumb hold the knife) and I have a support attached to the table so that my arm is at the right sort of height.

But despite all the assistance stuff, I COULD CUT MY POTATOES!!!!

Oh. And the computer tech in the centre has just been and persuaded my laptop to actually use the wifi here!!! Woohoo twice in one day!!!! :D :D :D
