I think I can see a bit of unused wall space....derek badger wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 8:52 am Up and my folks for NYE. Dad is mid 70s and still tinkering with shit. In the past it was motorbikes then woodworking. He's made furniture for the house and other projects. The last few years it's been buying, restoring/repairing old army stoves. He's got more crap crammed into a double garage than I thought was possible...

I don't really understand this concept of floor space, surely if there's any unused floor it means there's room for another motorcycle

Floor space, bench space is king, I want to walk into my garage and be able to crack on with whatever takes my fancy without pissing about moving stuff to make space to do the jobLe_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 9:51 pm I don't really understand this concept of floor space, surely if there's any unused floor it means there's room for another motorcycle

Not much of a workshop and no room to actually do any work but a quiet happy place nonetheless.

It wasn't as tidy as I expected it to be, and you've got a floor full of mountain bikes, and why is the KTM neatly in a corner, it should be on a pedestal so you can see all round it.weeksy wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 10:18 pmYou must have been confused in mine today thenLe_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 9:51 pm I don't really understand this concept of floor space, surely if there's any unused floor it means there's room for another motorcycle

My underground retreat, tidied up to give me room to strip down the kdx . Slight problem getting it down the stairs yesterday, the handlebars about 3 inches too wide so I need to fit some narrower ones for the next attempt.

Halfway through a reorg and tidy...
One of these bikes is going in the spring and I need to swap out the massive generator that's in there for something I can store on a shelf and then by the power of wishful thinking it'll be big enough.
Was fine when I had the one bike...
