Winter bimble.

Post by Dodgy69 »

Nice little ride to the Ponderosa. Well, not that nice actually. Roads covered in shit, too many cars and I don't want to talk about potholes.

First buff wear and excellent. Long and stretchy. Nice one Mr W. Still got rack fitted hoping to stop rear wheel shit spray but unfortunately not doing the job. There is a gap i could fill but maybe I'll just leave as is.

Heated grips on half were great . Had to re order heated gloves because of delays getting stock. Got refund after further delays and ordered elsewhere., as their website said in stock. Only to get email next day saying, waiting for stock to arrive. Rung around and one place in Nottingham had a pair so their on there way. 🙂

I've decided im ain't gonna keep putting in esso synergy supreme eternal free, I will just give it a run, easy peezy.

Just a few bikes parked up. Nice couple of Ducati scramblers covered in shit, but did look nice. Sausage roll, cup of tea , happy bike, happy rider. 🙂👍

It's been dry here the last few days, but my bike is blocked in by all manner of crap at the rear of the garage,so no stolen moments for me.

Dig the scenery, looks bleak enough for my tastes.

Quite envious !!! i do fancy a bit of that myself !

Funnily i was chatting to Phil over the other side of the close who's injured with rotator cuff problem. He's asked if i fancy taking his BMW 1200 something or other out for him so he can feel happier it's been ridden. Yup, without doubt, i'll get anyone elses bike dirty for him :)

It's dry and warm (for December in sub artic East Anglia) here today, but I'm at work, hoping the mild weather stays for the weekend.

Took the crf to Ironbridge for lunch. Warm pasty, white tea no sugar and a chilli pork pie please. 👍

BTW, the visor over googles works great.

And that is the big Versys. Looked very nice in that colour. Owner had come from an sx1000 and was loving the new one. He did mention he's had a couple of wobbly bar moments at speed, but still happy. Plenty of toys, electronic suspension, among many other's.

Don't know how heavy they are, but I don't do heavy.

Out again today, last one before Xmas probably. 130 miles . Bala lake and some hills. 4° grips on 7 out of 10. Looking forward to the heated gloves as outer hand was feeling it a bit.

I'm happier with the spray now, plus I've got something else coming in the post that might improve it further. The bike is staying. Got some dirty pics. 😉

Been grim up here in Manchester. Constant drizzle, wet roads, very little wind until yesterday. Maybe I'll get a slot as the temps pick up later this week. All I need are some dry roads and I'll be out.

Seems to be drying up here nicely, hopefully it continues into tomorrow. Planning a ride out somewhere, but not sure where yet. Be a shame to miss out on the double figure temps.

I'm thinking of heading out to mid Wales, Crossgates cafe if you fancy it. Be a good run from where you are though. ??
