Xmas 'Thread of the week' prizes and gifts.

Post by weeksy »

So from Xmas eve until the morning of the 1st Jan there'll be a prize for

THREAD of the WEEK !

I'm not sure on the prize yet, but should hopefully be GREAT !

The 3 mods will vote on NYD for who gets the prize.

The thread can be about anything.... but i'm guessing a motorbike related thread will be winning :)

My "Boris builds his own Tory motorcycle workshop for cafe racers" thread is bound to be a winner.

So we have an offer of 'something', and an opaque mechanism for determining who actually gets it. And a strong hint that the winning thread will involve motorcycles.

Not a lot to go on really.

Damn. My planned thread of a review of a film about building the best kitchen for cooking the perfect diet to become a winning bicyclist during an epidemic in a Korean dictatorship isn't going to trouble the leaderboard is it? :(

'Shafties don't wheelie' thread might do it.

So, If if I go grab the old boys shaftie and make a thread of me with it on the back wheel, will I win?

Righto, hopefully one of the heaps of shit are running.
Mostly all guzzi's, so there's a slim chance.
Actually there's an old 650 Katana out there, that bastard will be running for sure. Had it on the back wheel a few times. Pretty sure it was shaft drive.

So to get time differences correct, in how many hours over there is it Christmas eve?
Only 3 hours to go here

13 hours from now is the start of Xmas eve and indeed the start of entries from Thread of the Week.

Yeah i wasn't thinking it would win anyhow :)

I'm thinking more a European tour highlights thread, or a finished this build of a Guzzi Le Mans, or did my first trackday.

Maybe even "the other in law got a turkey leg stuck in her arsehole after she drank too much sherry" as a possible winner....

The umbrella thread... nah, not so much.

Heck even @Dodgy knees has more chance with his mudflap of doom :)
