Re: Der Panzer
Several people have already said they’ll have it off me, have I got some sort of reputation ?
Anyway there’s a new set of pilot road 5’s here to go on it then I’ll go through it and check everything. Anything none standard is coming off it too as I don’t needs all the extra bars and luggage

I will make special price, make special price!
And I don't meant all those things I say about electricians. I just like winding Iccy up.
Anyway, on the off chance you do decide to sell it, I'd be delighted to buy it*. I'd even collect it!
*unless I've bought something else by then.

Don't sell it to The Pony, he HATES sparkies.
Sell it to me, so I can sell it to The Pony and make a tidy profit.

Re: Der Panzer
How much is special price ? Is it £3400 cos that’s what it will be with new tyres on in a few hours/days/weeks Not that it’s for sale I’m quite attached to itAsian Boss wrote: ↑Tue Dec 21, 2021 8:04 pmCouchy wrote: ↑Tue Dec 21, 2021 7:55 pm Several people have already said they’ll have it off me, have I got some sort of reputation ?

Looking at prices I think it's worth that.Couchy wrote: ↑Tue Dec 21, 2021 8:14 pmHow much is special price ? That said, I'd prefer one with off road tyres and the pannier rails still there. But do let me know if you want to move it on. I am as fickle as you however. While looking at prices I saw this and really like the idea of it:

Almost the same as my 2006 model but with 30k more miles What's that box on the inside of the pannier rails for? While looking at prices I saw this and really like the idea of it:
@couchy I prefer the more/less pc name of "Pansy"

Re: Der Panzer
Has it been Hilltop-ed?
You will of course know whether it has the instant you touch that throttle, and if it hasn't, I'd get it down there pronto if I were you-, they are their specialty and I think Geoffrey can add at least a gazillion HP and torques to these, he apparantley stops the engine exploding too just by strapping it to his dyno and talking complete bollocks to anyone who'll listen for 30 mins or so.
And it should probably maybe make winning novice group a breeze I reckon ( not that you'll keep it long enough to find out of course )
Anyway, enough of this slightly-ancient-adventure-bike before your time bollocks- you got your R7 order in yet?

Re: Der Panzer
More of a look round it today. Rode it round the yard and made brum brum noises as it’s very quiet, although we saw it does have a cat removal y piece in. The exhaust man in the yard will make me a can for it so that’s one job sorted. Went through the paperwork and it wasn’t serviced too long ago. Had 3 offers and all turned down !

Do it. I bought a 2009 model earlier this year, wish I'd bought one years ago.asmethurst99 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 22, 2021 11:35 am I now want a R1200 rt (there are some in my price range)
