Re: new to me all being well
Very nice indeed. I loved my ZZR11 but never had a run on a 14. Heard good things though.

Nice, I like that, I know someone who sold one because it was too fast for him (his own words)

Guy in office above me had one. Looked like a 200mph sofa proper quality thing.

Never really understood that unless a bike is only designed/tuned to go fast and is an absolute pig to ride 'normally'. Isn't it just nice to have a bit of 'spare' capability??Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Sun Dec 12, 2021 9:37 am Nice, I like that, I know someone who sold one because it was too fast for him (his own words)
Rather like the look of the one above inc. mandlebars.

I think he found it a bit of a handful and ended up going faster than he wanted to, personally I prefer 750s to 1000s, I find myself arriving at corners too fast on a 1000.Count Steer wrote: ↑Sun Dec 12, 2021 12:44 pmNever really understood that unless a bike is only designed/tuned to go fast and is an absolute pig to ride 'normally'. Re: new to me all being well
It was on the listing as you scrolled along past the first few
Nice bike mister, i was wondering if it was an upgrade as i knew you already had a ZZR14. The bars might make a slight welcome change to the riding position

Re: new to me all being well
Im unsure about the bars as my clip ons have already had risers fitted so I 'll be interested to feel the difference, its an up grade as its a 2017 bike compared to my 2006 only has 210 BHp lol, mine on the dyno read 175 bhp at the back wheel with a power commander ( not sure if they finally fixed the does nothing till 6K problem mine had pre power commander and butterfly removal

Re: new to me all being well
I should imagine a ZZR14 can make 50-60 feel like 30 far too easily. It'll barely be ticking over at that speed so I'd find it hard to keep myself in check. I prefer smaller bikes that make speed feel fast so get what he means.Count Steer wrote: ↑Sun Dec 12, 2021 12:44 pmNever really understood that unless a bike is only designed/tuned to go fast and is an absolute pig to ride 'normally'. Plus if I bought a bike that did 180 I'd wanna do 180
