Re: Secret Santa
In all my jobs in London that's been the usual, maybe £15 sometimes but never more than that. It's meant to be a bit of fun and for some people £40 is not fun money.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 8:33 am £40!!!
Here in the Northern Wastes it's usually a £10 cap.

Re: Secret Santa
I found out the other day that rechargeable AA's are only 1.2v where as the normal ones are 1.5v. That's why rechargeables don't work in some devices.

Re: Secret Santa
I just discovered that too! Fortunately the device I just bought them for (which takes either 4 or 8) recommends them provided they're more than 2000mAh. But the price? Ouch!KungFooBob wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 9:48 am I found out the other day that rechargeable AA's are only 1.2v where as the normal ones are 1.5v. That's why rechargeables don't work in some devices.

It's not work, it's family
Alcohol was all I could think of too. Maybe a swiss army knife or something.
