Couldn't go out on sunny Sunday so went today instead. Bala, Ffestiniog Harlech, Barmouth and home. Short boot's ain't waterproof, feet soaked through. Body and legs ok.
Barmouth is a pretty bleak place at the best of times so when it's pissing down and very low cloud it ain't pretty. Toilets all open now. Took my own butty.
Bala to Ffestiniog Road. Dam wet.

Harlech Castle.

Barmouth Funland..

Barmouth prom... suppose things can only get better.

Took the ST1100 down round the Mourne Coastal route yesterday, brilliant weather and it ran beautifully, rolled over 91000 miles on the way.
Took the RSport to Portrush tonight, it rained as usual and the town was full of drunk Belfast folk fighting with ones from Coleraine.

That looks very fast. Most track day pics I see, people are quite upright and not hanging off like you!Rp1 wrote: Sun Jul 12, 2020 6:23 pm Snetterton 2 weeks ago, next time Silverstone GP on Saturday, might even managed to get my knee down !

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
On Friday I used the Guzzi to commute to work (first time back in the office since March), trip there was ok and I got drenched on the way home.
I had to go in again today (and for the rest of the week). I got me a proper rucksack instead of the over the shoulder leather briefcase and it was dry and warm.
I'd forgotten just how much fun a middle weight bike is on the commute.
The Guzzi has 'just' enough power to make it fun racing cars from the lights. You don't have to worry about grip, you can use full throttle everywhere, I even saw the traction control light up today racing some BMW from the lights on the Sheffield Parkway.
The single disc has a surprising amount of power and I've been trying my hardest to get the ABS to kick in... and failing.
Big wide bars make weaving betwix cars and roundabouts a joy.
I'm looking forward to work, despite all the PFY's being furloughed and I've got to Enterprise Enrol 400 Chromebooks on my todd!
