I'm even regretting not letting you all buy the plate now as this thing is staying ha ha. Seriously though, it really is.
That is something i never thought i would see...... the first bit of course as i am used to the second bit every time ;)

I know what you mean. As we've all known all along, the right kit makes a massive difference and i'm pretty close with it. The only things suffering is my hands, even with the heated grips whacked up.

So i may shoot into Sportsbikeshop and pick up these

But realistically there can't be many rides left can there... I've got a pair of wintery gloves i've used before that are in the loft, so i may go and see how they fit and give them a run out this weekend.

Hand gaurds with the grips work well. Personally, I'm OK just with the hot grips and goretex gloves. 👍

I'm not seeing either muffs or handguards on it... but as i say, other gloves, maybe.

Need to dig that pair of thicker ones out from the garage for Sat morning.

They do heated gloves with batteries, don't know what they're like though. 🤔

If i were commuting etc then maybe, but we're talking 3-4 times a year tops and 40-50 miles. I'm not doing -2deg and 100 mile commutes so i'm seeing £200 on heated grips being excessive.

Just pulled my old gloves out of the box, they're an old pair of frank thomas.

Same as these actually.

They're thick and feel warm, but the fingers are very short.... So a trip to Sportsbikeshop may well happen today.

Fair point. I do like the idea of these heated gloves though. Maybe on the crf, passing about in the snow, maybe.

I hate bulky gloves,I can feel nothing and they only delay cold hands anyway. If you are out long enough you'll still suffer.
My perfect solution is heated grips and heated gloves. I have Keis jobbies, they are a couple of hundred quid, but feel as light as a Summer glove. They did take a little breaking in,but perfect now.

That's the kiddies there. 3 heat settings green, amber and the hottest is red.

Purchased, hopefully they'll come tomorrow and I'll do a review after I've tried them - should be cold enough this weekend.

They can run off the bike battery,or sometimes use a Keis battery for both gloves and heated gilet.

Doubt if I'll get them tomorrow, looks like J & S aren't going to deliver them next day delivery, which is annoying because their website say that orders over £150 will be delivered next day - so I've started the tedious process of complaining and hopefully getting some money back off them.

I like the sound of those for my off-roading days this time of year- will be interested to hear what you think
