I saw a GS a while back with , headlight, orange lights in the indicators, and 4 auxiliary lights.

7 in total in broad daylight.

And how many were pointed in a useful direction? Useful doesn't include blinding oncoming traffic.

You’ll be pleased to know they are standard on the new model.

Which puzzles me as I thought lighting regs stopped indicators showing a permanent orange.
I’ve noticed it on a couple of cars as well - it nearly caught me out at a roundabout the other day.

Yes my new 1250 will have the indicators on all the time and I’ve specced it with 2 spotlights.

So that’s only 5 which is 2 less than 7 so I’m okay? Right?

For the sake of those two extra lights,is it worth someone not seeing you?

Had a 2021 GS out on a course a few weeks back, every time the rider braked, the indicators went invisible.

Terrible system.

Yep, a triumph of design over function.

The VWs of a few years ago were similar - round tail lights with a circle inside that was the indicator. The indicator became invisible under braking.

Filly's previous SEAT was arranged like that. You see some cars where indicators are so small or poorly positioned as to be useless.
