There's probably a few examples in the 'sportsbike' field where all manner of 'go faster' bits get added.

Maybe he thought his 300 Versys was too fast and needed the extra weight/drag to slow it down.

It's not my cup'o'tea, but i'm sure he enjoys bolting on the tat so fair do's.

I'm a member of a closed Fb group for the Zed thou. There are a few that love their Ali Express anodised bitz.
I love good aftermarket gear as much as the next man,but most of that gear just cheapens the bike imo.

I get its his bike so do what you like, i just dont understand why it is fitted with just so much unnecessary stuff for riding around East Anglia. I understand on a long trip you might want to carry some fluids but its got not 1 but 4 thermal flasks on it. The guy riding it always has a decent sized rucksack with camelback on and a weird leg harness/bag as well.

For those who remember fernando from VD/TRC, she went from the UK to Australia via the Stans and China with less luggage and stuff on her bike.

If he lives near you he needs to be prepared for the Artic winds off the North Sea, Gt. Yarmouth Zombie apocalypse (no one is sure if it's happened or that's just Yarmouth), sand storms or seal attack, he's probably from Norfolk, which is enough to explain everything.

Fair point about Yarmouth .... i ride through there and it does look like its populated by zombies, many with Portuguese and Lithuanian accents

I cant wait to see how much he manages to lump onto the 1200GSA he is buying once he gets an A license ;)

I saw a GS a while back with , headlight, orange lights in the indicators, and 4 auxiliary lights.

7 in total in broad daylight.

Transport? I thought it was his home! The top box probably has a sink in it.
