Well the MTs home, bit damp but missed the rain. First ride highlights, QS is brilliant, you end up just changing for the hell of it. Comfortable riding position and heated grips are ace. Easy to read display but will need to do some reading. It will need a small screen and something for attaching luggage straps. Other than that, it's good to go. Btw, you do need main dealer service to maintain warranty. Not cars apparently. ☹

You won't be shocked to know I'm enjoying the game myself.Dodgy knees wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 5:25 pm Both ways ye, definitely adds fun to the game. more fun than watching utd vs Liverpool. ☹
How's the engine feel compared to your previous one?

Not really tested. Had the odd overtake on A49 but I kept changing gear all the time. Feels lighter and less bounce than the tracer, bit hard actually. Brakes need to bed in. Hopefully give it a good run Wednesday or Thursday. These Mt's are definitely fun bikes.

First proper run out today bit damp in places but OK. It's the most fun bike I've ever had i reckon. Comfy riding position and no aches. Engine in D - mode 1 is a blast and the induction sounds great. Definitely more engine braking than tracer, don't need to brake so much. The QSS is fantastic and gets used on everything accept passing neutral.
Got my ring sorted so put the litter water bag on. Popped into Dave Jones motorcycles in Newtown and First service is 145 and running on about a 2 week wait, so will book at about 400 miles ish. I've ordered the Givi sports screen but in all honesty, it ain't that bad and could of probably lived without. You quickly get used to it.
I can get straps under seat to hold tail bag but will need something for larger stuff. Suspension still feels hard so will turn the spring adjuster down. 8 settings, factory is 4.
231 miles total.
More pics but nowt exciting. Nice breakfast at Crossgates. £7.

Just to add, the auto blipper is also great for loosing speed, along with engine braking, you really don't need much brake. One shit thing as come to my attention, the indicator stems sit in little rubber seals but you only need to knock them and they pop out, took me ages getting the thing back in. Apparently its an anti damage device.

Ye, when i went to cmc cannock I told the salesman all the Mt's indicators are hanging off, he just said there designed like that to stop them breaking. I've never had one break in my life.

Rack and splash gaurd came today. Took it out and first impressions, definitely an improvement. Road's weren't that wet but nothing on back of helmet. Jacket dry aswel but will need a wash and start again.. to see for sure.
Doesn't look as bad as i was expecting and whether it just goes on when wet we will see. More importantly, I now have bungie strapping points, so all good for luggage. Still waiting for fly screen to arrive. Also got dashboard screen protector come today made by Speedo Angels. £10. Supposed to keep it nice.
Quick run to Clee Hill, pretty steady, roads are a disgrace.
