A little 390 love-fest but more so on PB forum where 6-7 of them got one.

I got mine from Wigan Yamaha. Their website shows £6695+OTR, but they did it for £6695 OTR. He then wanted £250 to deliver, but ended up sticking on a van with another job, so i got free delivery on it. Heated grips are being fitted for free, but i do have to pay for the purchasing of them.. which seems fair. It only takes 30-60 mins, but hey, if i can get a Yam tech to spend his hour for free, i'm all good with that :)

Hope they do a better job than on my mates Tracer. To be fair they did the grips ok, but he also had a power socket fitted and it looks like they got the apprentice to do it. For a start they fitted a left hand power socket in the right hand slot! And the wiring is errr rudimentary to say the least.

The Yamaha grips are trick though, no separate controller bollocks it's all integrated with the grip itself, looks much nicer.

Nah, they're not the ones i'm afraid. Impossible to find and not sure if they fit the MT07... There's talk of them in 2022 but i don't know about currnetly. Reports are that they're shite at getting hot too.

Are you gonna test it ?
No, made an offer today, see what he says, I’ve ridden one a few years ago, liked it, plus it’s can’t be as slow as the Grom.

There's a few makes that do them like that. I had some on my SH300. I had the bike for a while before I realised it was a switch and a light there! Worked really well and much nicer than the hideous external controller on my oxford ones.

Collecting it tomorrow, it’s a 2018.
I’ll post a pic once I get my hands on it.

With a change of plan Saturday I got another 100 miles in on localish twisty roads. Nothing much to comment on the bike it was superb and it’s still a wheelie monster, even third and fourth can be carried for some distance over crests 👍. One issue is the arthritis in my left knee, gonna try the higher seat as it starts to hurt after an hour.
Stopped at Honda dealer and the only thing that I wanted was the fire blade sp. pointless as I’d never use it but it looks lovely 😁
Still got a want for an adventure bike so I could carry on down the gravel lanes although the MT was hilarious with lots of wheel spin 🤣

I got to admit that I was never that fussed about the MT-07. But having been given keys and allowed to ride a couple of roundabouts (ok, only about 1.5km!) I really like them :D :D :D
