I'll be riding the Multi over and using that....i dont fancy a 700 mile round trip on the little Fazer

Might as well use the big bike for the only thing it hasnt done yet. Its done touring, commuting, fucking about and off road ...just the track left

Well the good news is that according to BBC travel in/out of Wales is now allowed... So at the very least we can actually get to track, even if it means an early start and no kipping over at track/hotel. But we're 6 weeks or so away, i expect by then we'll be fine for hotels etc.

Yup, but at the moment only those with self contained facilities. So self catering apartments, hotle rooms, caravans and camper vans. Those that need facility blocks are not allowed yet including tents ..... they are reviewed every couple of weeks so looking favourable by the time we are there

Shirley there will be toilets though? So one could kip in ones van, have a wash and brush-up from a bowl of water outside like we used to in the olden days racing, and then all you need is a toilet for the morning ablutions.

I was supposed to be home next week, but it's cancelled because I'm not coming home just to sit as a prisoner for two weeks in my own house, and that means I have the option of coming back when this is on - obviously depending on lockdowns, flights, not having to quarantine myself in case I fetch the plague back with me.

I'd love to, time has been the limiter for me, so for the last few years my two week bike holiday has been with the classic bike guys down in Suffolk, but this year with everything that has happened it looks like that won't happen for a few reasons, even if the event is on I probably can't get the time off then.

Our family holiday is also cancelled, so now I have the time - but at the moment I'd have to fly back to the UK, quarantine in our house for 2 weeks, then come to the event, then get back to the house, pack everything away and fly back and quarantine here for 2 weeks, so it's a 5 week embuggerance for a weekend away, which is silly, so I'm in limbo.

If the rules get relaxed then it's definitely on the cards, I've got a couple of bikes I can use back home and I've got flights all paid for that I keep rescheduling hoping for improvements on the quarantine rules, but who knows.
