Had to get back quickly yesterday, so rode from Millau to home only stopping for fuel a few times.

Indeed-rode on D roads in France, lots of speed traps and a police force that likes to take money, bikes and licences for transgressions. My brother found that out in 2019 on his way to Le Mans

At last,a dry day. Even quite warm and sunny for a bonus.

Having not been out on the bike for over two weeks,I must have inadvertently engaged warp drive and landed slightly in the future,so I took a pic as proof, then engaged warp drive in the opposite direction in order to get to my time. 8-)

It was scary man,I tell ya. There was no proper fuel anywhere and all the Google cars sounded like milk floats. Quite a few passengers gave me the evil eye and it looked like they were straight on the phone to report me.

You need to watch that bike of yours fella,it'll have you decades into the future.

Not bad for a 21 year old 650 Deauville. Up a 1 in 3 hill.

The average speed over 10 hours is even more impressive. It's stunning given the D roads route.

Thanks. When I got to the Spanish border town of El Limits I spoke to a French rider who asked where I was heading. He told me that that the AP7 Toll Road to Alicante was now free. So I took it.

About 100kms from home I turned off of the motorway and cut across country, as I was still going to be home well before the sun set, and there are some great roads back to mine dropping down from the north.

Day off work today so I got out for a couple of hours in the sunshine on the backroads around here,West Lancs.
The suspension on the 675R is way to hard for the terrain but we survived

Not sure how many more opportunities I'll get to ride in this kind of weather before Winter kicks in...

I was out about about doing minor chores around town on the (good) XL today. I had a lovely time, letting people out of junctions, turning the fuel tap on and off and applying the steering lock. It's a nice little bike to ride. Some lads on 1000cc+ bikes came over and asked about it too as they'd never seen one. I should probably change those grips though!

I've been busy with the club the last couple of weeks. I ran a group ride from Box Hill to the Cease Fire Cafe, Yapton yesterday. Great weather for this time of year - around 15c all day.

Are you substantially faster than the others, or a very small 'group'? ;)

That was bait. Thank goodness someone bit or I would have looked very sad. Rykas opens at 9am not 8am as I thought so it was a bit quiet when I got there.

Here's some of us regrouping at the end of the B2141.
