BSB-Brands Hatch final triple header

Post by wull »

Discuss?

I personally want some fantastic racing but sneakily would love for Tommy to win.

I think Tommy is going to need a lot of luck. I cant recall who goes particularly well at Brands other than Josh.

6 and two 3’s between Taz and Jason when they were there for round 3, Taz had a win and so did Jason and in the other race I think Taz finished something like 3rd or 4th with Jason one place behind him.

21 points splitting Bridewell from McKenzie then with Iddon and O'Halloran in the middle.

The one thing McKenzie seems to have is consistency, as does Iddon i think. Whereas Bridewell can be winning or 10th.

O'Halloran seems to have lost the run of form he had a few months back... but not impossible to see him winning all 3...

I certainly can't call it.

It's a toss of the coin for the usual suspects. O'Halloran must be chewed up thinking of all that early good work, then possibly losing to those who scraped in by the skin of their teeth.

Seemingly unfair as it is,those are the rules and TV coverage/the big show is king.

I couldn't honestly guess who'll bag the title,but I'll enjoy watching.

I would like to see Bridewell win it as this could be his best chance ......... but i think it will be one of the Yamahas that takes it with Taz favourite for me

Who knows as one silly mistake by anyone could blow it apart

Gutted Tommy crashed during the wet race at Donington as that would have gave him a much better chance, it now seems to be too much of a mountain to climb but you never know.

Everybody knows the rules. Some riders will have ridden just to make sure they got into the shootout.

It does make it better for us, the WSBK championship has been shite for years and now it’s fantastic, so exciting because it’s much closer and there’s a chance of two or three riders winning the championship towards the very end.

I think it's to close to call,I'm just glad that they've got good weather for the weekend, hopefully making for some good close racing.I wonder if it will go down to the final race? Remember when Tommy Hill won it Hopper was going to be champion halfway around the last corner!!
The Saturday race last year was a cracker.
I wonder if Brookes will score another hat trick? Rumour has it that he's joining Hicky next year & he can't win the championship so the pressure's off.

Wet dry wet dry, slightly damp in qualifying.

Let's see what the day brings.

I'll mostly be using catch up as Liverpool are on at 12:30

Full wets for qualifying but drying towards the end. Surprising who’s at the sharp end and I was expecting Tarran to maybe struggle going by free practise and for Jason to go well but polar opposite.

Poor from Iddon? Surely he must have known the rider behind would be in that gap

When he gave his interview afterwards and said what he said I immediately turned to the wife and said “well according to the commentator at the time it was more Iddon’s fault than Tommy’s”………..

Obviously Christian doesn’t see it that way. I thought Tommy would maybe get it but Tarran was so damn good, I think Tommy knew he couldn’t make it but he said himself he was having tyre problems and was struggling on corner exit.

We found a decent pub nearby for dinner and Stalker appeared, dinner for champions 🤣
