British Historic Racing (VMCC)

Post by KungFooBob »

Have just cancelled the season.

No racing at all.

Probably for the best, I'm not sure my leathers still fit :(

I guess the average rider age is a little higher than other clubs, along with older spectators, even the Scroots have one foot in the grave.

Could it be that they just couldn't get the circuits.
There's probably a pecking order. Touring Cars,BSB,other car stuff, the bigger Bike clubs and so on.

Reading between the lines I think there's been some upset at the VMCC which has had a knock on to BHR.

I can't remember which club runs The Lord of Lydden, but that's still happening and have a class we can enter, dunno if I fancy racing that late into October.

Lydden is owned by the Doran family.
I've had dealings with them.
I wouldn't go there.

I did a round at Lydden last year, it was alright.

Except they had to keep stopping cos the locals kept complaining about the noise.
