Toprak’s was to do with the penalty imposed on him and a joke, a laugh, JR doing that was a direct dig at Toprak, and in JR’s own words when asked about it…….”I make it dirt again”……fuck is that all about? He’s a little wank, nigh is near for him, the reign will soon be over and I can’t wait.
Can't agree... he's been a dominant force in WSB against a high class or rider for years and years and years, beating all-comers with ease mostly.. Ex-GP riders, ex-WSB and of course all current WSB riders. Somehow though he's berated by people.. well, some people. Not all.
I’m not questioning what he’s done, or even what he’s done on a bike, I’m questioning how he’s acting now that he’s got someone who is beating him and beating him when he’s riding at his best.

Fact is he should have fucked off to GP and tried it there because that story about not getting the opportunity is bullshit, nobody collaborated that story. The look on his face that day and the way he conducted himself in Parc Ferme is all I need to know, Fanny!

Maybe I'm a little different from younger race fans, but for me the entertainment is in the sport, not the personalities. I want to see the best riders in the series and at the peak of their skills do battle with each other. I'm not gutted when any particular rider wins, nor am I dancing on the ceiling when some other rider crashes/falls off. May the best man on the day win, that's my idea of entertainment.

I've spent years hanging over hedges watching the road races with other fans and never ever heard people hating on individual riders, they just want to see them do what they do best.

Of late there has been too much of the cult of personality in bike racing and fans are encouraged by the media and organisers to 'support' a rider and hate on his competitors. All this smacks of how football is now run, there is little in the way of respect or appreciation for a good game/race,the only thing that matters is the hated opposition is beaten.

Race organisers,in their haste to promote the sport of bike racing are in danger of hyping up the contestants like the world wrestling series, all meaningless posturing for the fans.

If you watch a race and afterwards feel outraged at the result because the 'wrong man' won, then you are watching it wrongly and spoiling it for yourself. I worked with a guy who busted several TVs when his football team lost a game,to me that's not sport, that's tribalism.

I agree with the Skubster. Never got into hero worship, especially Rossi.

I'm passionate about footy and get peeved when my team loses.

But I can enjoy all races as not too bothered who wins.

But I do look down on bad sportsmanship and constant moaners.

I still don't know what people expect riders to say
"my tyre didn't work and i couldn't get the power down"

That's classed as moaning... however, rider was asked "why couldn't you match the ..."

Then again he says "the Ducati has more power on the straights"

but he was asked "how come it seems you can't stay with the Ducati"

etc etc... it confuses me... what are they supposed to say.

"Bike was brilliant, i love it...." but they finished 7th lol.

I don't think I'm a particularly young race fan but equally, due to lack of seeing loads of it regularly, I've always just watched to see the racing and hope they all do really well and finish.

I spent a lot of time watching and marshalling at the TT and Manx, so whilst I may have favourites, I just want to see racing

The comments after the race are interesting and I have no interest in the personal comments about each other, but the comments about bikes and tracks are interesting to me

I was the same but because of JR’s antics after in Parc Ferme I’m now 100% against him. BSB for example, I’m not fussed who wins so long as it’s great racing, WSBK has been the best it’s been in years and yet the wee prick moans and tries to spoil it, fucking get on with it ffs.
