I was tempted by the 4 series with the folding roof, I like the Z4 but read that it was a very firm ride (as firms as the JCW mini I had that was annoyingly firm). I'm not too old for a low two seat convertible so I bought an SL. It's still sporty, but without being overly harsh.

Yep, Z4 is a firm ride, also quite low so it needs a spring chicken to leap in and out!! Looked at the 4 series drop top, but it’s not for me, personal choice.
SL’s are nice, but I’m not a MB fan, bad experience in the past.
Each to their own, I’m sure there’s others who wouldn’t touch a Beemer for the same experiences but loved my time with a convertible, just this is the right time to change I reckon.

back from being emergency dad taxi to get daughter to school as bus decided to "stop".... Managed to get her there only 15 minutes late instead of the projected 1/2 hour late. Poor lass is badly wound up and hates being late (like her dad) and has anxiety issues on top of all that. Still, managed to put aircon on freeze and cool her down enough to be able to face school. Now to write my sermon!

Do like they do on Thought for the Day and turn the mornings events into a sermon topic. :D

Its not my fault, I'm on annual leave today.

Cleaning the bike and finding bits of wasp in every nook and cranny. At least there are no bits of squirrel. I don't change course for anything smaller than a cat and there were a few close shaves with squirrels while I was away.

Tuesdays - who needs them? The most nothing day of the week. Have we got a room 101?

Monday - full of hope (or dread) five whole days where and you can make anything happen, Wednesday - over the hump day, Thursdays - hold on in there soldiers we're almost done, Friday is Friday innit.

Remove all Tuesdays from everyone's calendars worldwide and it would be months before anyone even noticed. Eventually someone would say "WTF happened to Tuesdays - yeah Tuesdays, you remember, we used to have Tuesdays right?".

Onwards........

About to venture into the wet wilds of SE London, taking wife to school and daughter to college then myself to Church to finish off some work from last night and getting ready to train people in using OBS with video equipment for LiveStreaming services.

Move to a binary week. Monday - midday Wednesday and Wednesday afternoon to Friday.

Woah there, I've worked ridiculously hard for my life and now it's amazing, even Tuesdays, I'm ridiculously happy just to be alive today, so don't you go taking 1/7th of my time left on the planet off me.

Right now I'm working from home, having a bacon butty and a second cup of coffee, loads to do, shit to deal with and an operation coming up on Thursday, but I'll take every day I can get thank you, even if it is a Tuesday :)
No one cares because it's Tuesday. If it were Friday and you said "It's Friday and I'm having a bacon sandwich" you'd get a couple of thumbs up for that and maybe even a dancing banana.
