Will a Honda CRF fit in a Transit Connect?

Post by Elbandito »

Hello Everyone,

As the title says really, would a Honda CRF250L fit in a Transit Connect with a high top? I don't own either, but would like to. The van would be 2009 era.

Cheers

I think The Spin Doctor asked this (albeit a Divvie or Hornet) on the Other Place #2, and the answer was 'no'.
Even bland can be a type of character

I suppose it depends on how many parts you want to break the bike down into

I've seen plenty of sportsbikes in a high top lwb connect. You may have an issue height wise in which case get a stand and swap front wheel for a 12" wheelbarrow one and it'll go in fine then. Only a 5 min job to take the wheel out on an mx stand :)

Thanks for the replies so far, the Connect would be the LWB version too. Good to hear that some lads with sportsbikes have squeezed them in.

The other bike I'm considering is the Kawasaki KLX250, but I'd imagine it's similar in dimensions to the CRF250L.

That made me giggle. Just make sure you put the original wheel back in before going out on track.

I’ve put a Rgv 250 in a connect and a mate used to take his Rmz 450 in one, can’t remember which wheelbase it was though.
If I remember rightly the passenger seat folded down flat too.
