Hello from Newbury
Hi,
Just joined and live near Newbury, Berkshire. Up for any rideouts unless you have a deathwish
I have a 2007 cbr1000rr I used to use on the road but now is just used for track days (novice groups), a ktm 1190 adventure for commuting (when I used to commute) and longer trips, a ktm 950 sm for playing on the lanes and a drz400 for playing on the dirt lanes. Also very slowly restoring a zxr750 l. I do all my own work on the bikes.
Cheers,
Mark

Hello and welcome!
I'm in Newbury - but, due to medical stuff, had to sell my final bike last year.

If travelling on the A34, there's no longer that fear.

When I said 'Through' I actually meant 'Past' on the A34.

Nothing at all wrong with Newbury. Nice little town, quiet.
I drove through Bristol yesterday, fuck me, that's, well, interesting

Re: Hello from Newbury
We've been here for over 20 years and it's ok. Kids can't wait to get away but I think that that's common where ever you live.
There's some reasonable roads to play on round here, quite a lot of green lanes and a few tracks within striking distance. It could be worse

Ha, almost certainly. It was busy last night. I can't recall where I was but four japanese cars came round a corner nose to tail like the fast and the furious and there was an ariel nomad out for a play along with plenty of bikes. If you see this give me a wave...

You could add Culham to that list. If a fusion reactor goes on the blink all the matter in the planet ends up in a teaspoon that weighs a googleplex tonnes.
