Dunno what the lap records are like for Legends cars but having watched them race at Brands Hatch they're not too shabby either. They look like Elliot Ness cars until you get up close and realise they're 5/8 scale. Bike engines and a lot of rubber.

That was one option. They're gradually moving to liquid cooled engines I think.

It looks to my untrained eye like the crank is longitudinal like a BMW R series rather than the more traditional way most singles run.

Which makes it interesting imho (I'm off to google some more about it).

The shaft must make changing gearing a bit difficult.
